Annoyance Theatre has been making people laugh and teaching improv in Chicago for 25 years. Help us build a new, permanent home.
My first improv class ever took place three years ago at The Annoyance Theatre. I walked into my class excited to see what was in store. My teacher was the talented Megan Johns (The lady in the pink tights in the picture above). She was the most supportive and engaging teacher anyone could have. From that moment on I knew that The Annoyance was going to be my comedy home in Chicago. They were not afraid to take chances and be weird. This summer I was asked to understudy for Manic Pixie Dreamland at The Annoyance. It was bittersweet because three years after moving to Chicago I was able to perform in a musical with my the teacher that help me start it all. This theatre means so much to me and I hope you understand what it means to find a place where you feel you belong. The Annoyance is that place for me. Please donate and help them make a bigger and better place for more people to call their home.
